About Bri
Born and raised in the small town of Northfield, Minnesota, Bri was taught to sew at a very young age by her loving and gifted grandmother. Never far from her artistic aspirations, Bri was found designing clothes throughout her school years. Her first design to come to fruition was her junior prom dress.
Bri continued her studies at North Dakota University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Apparel and Textiles. Supplementing her studies through costume production and design at the Little Country Theatre, Bri began to appreciate more and more the history and art of beauty and fashion.
Feeling the need to further develop and refine her design aesthetic, Bri left the Midwest at age 20 to attend the Academia Italiana in Florence, Italy. Bri earned her Master’s Diploma in Fashion Design following two astounding years of living, studying, and working in Florence.
Bri returned to the United States in 2006, landing in Olympia Washington to pursue costume design. Coming into a new region not knowing a soul, Bri’s independent spirit and determination led her to various opportunities and experiences that inspired her to create her own design label. Bri has developed her designs and marketed her label through community fashion shows and art exhibits, instructing and mentoring budding designers, and creating original garments for her individual customers.
