What does it mean to you to be a woman? How does one define such a lucid concept? says…..

wom·an [woom-uhn]
noun, plural wom·en [wim-in]
1. the female human being (distinguished from man ).
2. an adult female person.
3. a female attendant to a lady of rank.
4. a wife.
5. the nature, characteristics, or feelings often attributed to women; womanliness.

But none of those things truly speak to what it’s like to be a woman. Am I right?

I have wanted to write a blog about what being a woman means to me. But I struggled with just presenting my singular viewpoint on the topic. I didn’t want anyone to think that my one idea was being sold as the only idea. Thanks to an amazing blogger friend (AllThingsKate) an idea was born to feature 31 amazing women to give their viewpoint on the subject.
