Mallory Armstrong

A note from Bri: One of my favorite parts about doing these interviews has been pushing the women to confront their edges and really dig deep to answer the questions. I was blessed to experience a particularly poignant conversation with Mallory prior to her interview in which she admitted to me that she didn't have an answer to one of the questions, "How do you inspire other women?" She confessed that aside from my inviting her to be in the book, she didn't feel inspirational at all. I was blown away, but didn't really say much hoping that she'd find an answer on her own without my coercion..... And this is what she came up with:

"I originally felt really intimidated to participate in these interviews thinking, "What have I accomplished that's inspirational?". But perhaps that's the beauty of it all. You don't have to be Mother Theresa. You don't have to be Hillary Clinton, Arianna Huffington or Sophia Amoruso. You just have to be the best version of yourself, and you're bound to make a difference in at least one person's life. So I just hope this book inspires you to be your own inspiration." -Mallory Armstrong
